When you reach out, you’re helping animals get the care they deserve and reducing the risk of rehoming, which helps lower pet homelessness. If you need pet assistance or suspect animal cruelty or neglect, we’re here to protect animals and support families with judgment-free help, pet supplies, and welfare guidance.
THE “POWERS” PROJECT

PROTECTION
Animal cruelty prevention and intervention, including collaboration with law enforcement and regulatory agencies to support investigation, documentation, and enforcement of animal protection laws.

OUTREACH
Reduces barriers to care through mobile, relationship-based community engagement that builds trust and connects families with essential supplies before and during crises.

WELLNESS
Promotes long-term health through mobile, preventive, and basic maintenance care that supports animal well-being and reduces preventable medical issues.

EDUCATION
Provides families and youth with humane knowledge, practical skills, and compassionate guidance to promote responsible care, empathy, and respect for all living beings.

RESOURCE
Connect families to additional care and support that help sustain wellness, stability, and independence for both pets and their owners, promoting shelter diversion and stronger households.

Support both ends of the leash through protection, outreach, wellness, education, resources, and transportation for our participants and our partners.
